LOOKING FOR A LOVING
HOME: Bronson is a 3 year old, registered Great Dane. He is neutered and has had gastropexy surgery to prevent gastric torsion. He is in perfect health and is quite intelligent. We rescued Bronson from a family in Texas when he was 1 1/2 years old and hoped he would be a good companion and playmate for our other Great Dane that we have raised from a puppy. Unfortunately, we have found that Bronson was not socialized as a puppy and he has become aggressive with our other dog and with all other dogs and cats. He craves love and attention from my wife and me and is as sweet and lovable as can be with us, but cannot be in a home with any other animals. Bronson must be an inside dog and receive lots of affection. Anyone interested in adopting Bronson must be willing to undergo a comprehensive interview. Bronson weighs 165 lbs, but is a fairly light eater -- 5 to 6 cups moistened dry food per day. He gets 2-4 additional biscuits and freeze dried liver treats and finally a smoked beef ear at night. He is approximately 35" at the withers. He gets Interceptor monthly for heartworm prevention and Frontline monthly for flea/tick prevention.
