Casey and Suzanne attending the Bob Vest Herding Clinic at Joy Sebastian's in Houston, TX in November 1999.  Bob worked with us on giving Casey a job to do, so that he could understand what we were trying to accomplish.  Some dogs need a job to do or they become bored.  Here, we are working on a couple of different things.  We went into the barn and got the sheep, brought them back to the round pen.  And then I would send Casey on a very short "outrun" and had him bring all of the sheep to me.  If he left any, he had to go back until he had them all to me.  Then, I called Casey off and praised him for a job well done.
