Rebel "Rebel" is an African Grey talking parrot. Rebel came into my life in 1989 at the age of 7 while I was in college at Mississippi State University (Go DAWGS!). He mimics my answering the telephone, my telephone conversations, knows each of the barks of the three dogs, and can correct each one of them upon hearing any of them bark. He has gotten really good at calling Greg for me! |

Mannix, Three Dog Farm, P.I. "Mannix", AKA "Meow Kitty" is a black and white Domestic Shorthair and is a one-of-a-kind cat! We brought him home in the Summer of 2000 and life hasn't been the same since! |

Mom and Dad - Mom is M. Suzanne Sims and Dad is Greg Vening. Mom works as a Technology Consultant doing web development and design. She enjoys training us in herding, agility, obedience, tracking and making pet therapy visits. Mom also works with ABRL (American Bouvier Rescue League), serves as the ABdFC (American Bouvier des Flandres Club) webmaster, the JOTC (Jackson Obedience Training Club) webmaster, and provides assistance with pet behavioral problems. Dad is the MIS Director for his company so he works with computers, too. He enjoys playing computer games and watching sci-fi movies. He goes along with Mom to herding, but doesn't love training as Mom does. He has been working with Adam and those sheep though! We might make a shepherd out of Dad yet! |

MARL's Harvey the Easterbunny "Harvey" was a white New Zealand rabbit. He was adopted in December 1993 at the age of 5 months and was a littertrained housebunny. Harvey knew three obedience commands and adored all dogs. He was not a typical bunny as he loved to he held and would go to sleep laying on his back on my lap while I was trimming his nails. We lost Harvey Wednesday, June 10, 1999 at the age of 6 years. We saved him from death, and he brought more joy into our lives than we could have ever imagined. The dogs have looked and looked for him. We miss him so very much. |
|
Bayou Baby "B.B." was a grey Cockatiel. Born on July 4, I purchased him at the age of 12 weeks from a friend. B.B. was born on the bayou near New Orleans, LA which is how he got his name. B.B. had a large vacabulary and talked in complete sentences. We lost him right before Thanksgiving in 1997 at the age of 11 years. We so miss his sunshine and squeaky little sentences. |

Dan better known as Danny Boy. Dan was a 1/2 Southdown, 1/2 Florida Native ram. He was the sweetest ram in the world, contrary to how most rams are thought of. No matter how many ewes were in season, Dan would also run up to have his head scratched. He adored people. We miss you so very much Danny Boy. |
